Siskiyou Community Health Center Dental Clinic Offering Free Child Dental Screenings, Cleanings and Fluoride Treatments

February 3, 2016

Grants Pass, OR – February is National Children’s Dental Health Month. If you have a toddler or child under 18, you may have questions about your child’s first dental visit, when to expect changes from primary to permanent teeth, or choosing the right mouth protector for young athletes.

If so, Siskiyou Community Health Center invites you to attend a free program that will be held on February 5 at their Cave Junction dental clinic from 8:30 am to 4 pm, and on February 15 in Grants Pass from 8 am to 5 pm.

Children will receive a free dental screening, a cleaning and fluoride treatment. A raffle, crafts and a coloring contest will be held as well. Parents will have the opportunity to learn about the importance of regular dental examinations for children.

“A healthy smile is important to a child’s overall health and self-esteem. Help your child keep their teeth strong and healthy for life with proper care, a balanced diet and regular dental visits,” said Diana L. Porter, EPDH.

This fun event will be held at the Siskiyou Community Health Center Dental Clinic at 1035 NE 6th Street in Grants Pass and our new Dental Clinic located at 25647 Redwood Hwy in Cave Junction. Participants will be served on a first come, first served basis.
