Quality Improvement Manager

Siskiyou Community Health Center is looking for a Quality Improvement Manager to develop, implement, and oversee the Quality Improvement, Quality Assurance, Operational Excellence, Regulatory Readiness and Risk Management policies, programs, and initiatives. This role will be responsible for establishing, monitoring, and maintaining quality control systems and partner with medical leadership to develop, implement and oversee Clinical Quality and Guidelines.

Required for this role, the team member must have:
• A Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree is preferred
• 2 years’ experience in a healthcare or related setting
• 2 years in a leadership position with experience in staff supervision
• Experience initiating or participating in quality improvement projects in a healthcare setting
• Training in LEAN, Six Sigma or other Quality Improvement projects in a healthcare setting
• Ability to negotiate and advocate in complex social/medical systems
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records and strong computer skills
• Ability to manage projects independently and take the lead with little direct supervision
• Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
